Nan Wang, M.D. Ph.D
Nan Wang, M.D. Ph.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist (Eye Doctor) specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal and anterior segment eye diseases. Her expertise includes vision correction surgery (LASIK, PRK, Implantable contact lens, etc.), cataract surgery with premium lens implants, and all types of corneal transplantation surgeries.
Dr. Wang received her medical degree and graduate degree from Baylor College of Medicine. After completion of her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Wang undertook additional fellowship training in refractive, cornea, and cataract surgery at the same institution.
Following her training, Dr. Wang joined the faculty of the Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School at Houston. For almost two decades, Dr. Wang has been actively involved in the training of medical students, resident physicians, and fellow physicians. Dr. Wang is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Harris County Medical Society, and Houston Ophthalmological Society.
