Ophthalmic Assistant III/Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Ophthalmic Assistant II plus

2. Master all testings done in office (i.e ophthalmic ultrasound, Maddox rod, OKN drum)

3. Manifest refraction with red green balance.

4. Contact lens demonstration and instructions.

Qualification:

1. Excellent communication skills

2. Computer skills (master electronic health record, able to obtain/verify information using internet)

3. Good writing skill (good grammar and spell check to put preliminary information into electronic health record)

4. At least five years full time experience at the skill level.

Commitment:

Full time or part time. May need to cover some of the weekend.
