Patient Account Representative
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance and communicate key information to patients and providers.
Answer patients’ questions about account balances.
Post daily payments.
Scrub and send claims out.
Reconcile account balances.
Post remittance and allocate funds.
Generate and send financial statements.
Qualification:
Excellent organization skills.
Excellent communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish).
Excellent computer skills (mastery of electronic practice management system, and ability to obtain/verify information using the internet).
Good math and accounting skills.
Commitment:
Full time or part time. Must be reliable. May need to cover some of the weekend.
